Susie’s Law First Responders

Susie, only a puppy, was found in Greensboro, NC in 2009, brutally beaten, and with 2nd & 3rd degree burns over 60% of her body. She had a will to survive and recovered, while Susie’s perpetrator received minimal punishment. Concerned citizens knew changes had to be made, and after many months of NC citizens calling and writing letters and emails to their legislators, Susie’s Law PASSED unanimously and went into effect December 1, 2010. Susie’s Law ‘First Responders’ app allows NC citizens to stay informed & keep tabs on important animal protection legislation initiatives, and arms them to be the voice & speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
