Dror Zoreff
Interim CEO and President, Chairman of the Board & Corporate Secretary
Mr. Dror Zoreff has served on Smart Online’s Board of Directors since April 2008, He was appointed Board Chairman May 2009.
Mr. Zoreff has served as the President and CEO of Donor Management Services, Inc., a New York-based company that provides major donors, corporations, and foundations a unique set of tools and services to ensure their charitable gifts are properly used and achieve the desired impact since 2008. From 1999 to 2008, Mr. Zoreff served as Consultant to the President and CEO of United Retail Group Inc., a specialty retailer of large size women's fashions. From 1997 to 1999, he was Vice President of International Operations at Russ Berrie, Inc., a designer, importer, marketer, and distributor of gift and infant and juvenile consumer products. Prior to 1997, Mr. Zoreff held positions with The College of Judea & Samaria, Glenoit Industries Ltd, and the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Mr. Zoreff holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Manchester University and an M.A. degree in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University.
Bob Dieterle
Sr Vice President and General Manager
Mr Bob Dieterle joined Smart Online in February 2010. He is serving as Sr Vice President and General Manager. Previously, Mr Dieterle was at IBM and Lenovo developing, launching and managing global HW, SW and services products. As Executive Director at Lenovo, Bob built out Lenovo’s first services sales and marketing organization and global portfolio targeted to the enterprise, SMB and consumer segments. Over that time period, Bob developed Lenovo’s first global SaaS-based services offerings while the services business grew at a fast 79% growth rate. Prior to that at IBM, Bob spent three years in Shenzhen, China as global lab director creating IBM’s first PC development engineering lab in an emerging market. Bob has a BS of Electrical Engineering from NC State and MBA from Duke University.
Thaddeus J. Shalek
Interim CFO
Mr. Shalek is the CFO of Smart Online Inc. Mr. Shalek was previously the CFO of Lindell Investments, Inc., a closely held national real estate development company in Tampa, Florida, the CEO and CFO of Vertical Health Solutions, Inc., Oldsmar, Florida and the owner and president of Shalek & Associates, CPA's Inc., a Certified Public Accounting firm in Cleveland, Ohio providing accounting, tax and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses. Mr. Shalek worked as an auditor and tax manager with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and currently teaches accounting and entrepreneurial finance, on a part-time basis, at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He was an adjunct instructor of business, accounting and taxation at Cuyahoga Community College of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Shalek earned his BSBA from John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio and his MBA from The University of Tampa. Mr. Shalek has served on numerous charitable and business boards throughout his career.
Sue Cho
Director of Development
Ms. Sue Cho started with Smart Online in March 2009. She currently heads up the development teams for our OneBiz product and consulting applications.
Ms. Cho was Senior Software Engineer, at Elasting Inc. of Burlington, MA from 2007 to 2009. Elasting is a software product and services firm helping companies needing expert guidance and assistance in application and managed service development. From 2004 through 2007 Ms. Cho was a Senior Software Engineer, for Enhanced Medical Decisions, Inc., a Massachusetts based award-winning health IT innovator — creator of “DoubleCheckMD.com” a unique service that allows anyone to uncover reactions to medications. After three and a half years, in 2004, Ms. Cho left as Development Manager from Wellogic dba. Wellogic is a healthcare IT company, providing award-winning health information exchange, portal, and EHR/PHR solutions that help ensure quality care for nearly 5 million patients. Ms. Cho has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Certificate of Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts At Lowell.
